On Friday, 28 August 2020 we notified you of a COVID-19 positive case associated with a staff member of Cubbyhouse Before and After School Care (OOSH). NSW Health has advised us that following additional testing this case is negative, meaning this person is not infected with COVID-19.
The staff and students who were identified as close contacts will be contacted directly by NSW Health and released from isolation. NSW Health acknowledges that the response may have adversely impacted you and your family. They would like to apologise for any inconvenience or distress this may have caused.
We remind you that if you have been tested for COVID-19 and are currently awaiting a test result, please remain in isolation until you receive a negative result.
The safety and wellbeing of our staff and students is of paramount importance to us at all times. As such we will continue to work closely with NSW Health to ensure that all necessary health advice is adhered to.
The school will continue normal operations and be vigilant in implementing infection control procedures, including daily cleaning in accordance with normal protocols, the promotion of healthy hygiene habits, and will continue to make hand sanitiser available for staff and students to use while at school.
